Why refresh?

The meaning of Refresh is: To breathe life into; restore, and revive. We believe the name Refresh Community Church truly articulates our vision, purpose and passion in drawing people closer to God allowing him to truly Refresh us in every are of our lives.

The Purpose of Refresh Community Church is to Love God, Love people, Love our City and Change the world. Fulfilling the Great Commandment (Matt 22:36-40) by the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20)

We exist to positively transform the lives of people by serving them, nurturing them and helping become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ

Transformed people express their humility toward God by modelling a lifestyle of submission to God and considering others more important than themselves. (Luke 9:23; 1 John 3:16; phil 2:3-11; Rom 12:1-2)

We reach people through outreach and evangelism. We help them to Engage in a meaningful relationship with Christ. We bring them into Fellowship with God and other believers. People are renewed as they become a more devoted follower of Jesus. We equip them by helping them with their gifts and providing opportunities for Service. We are servant leaders who love God, love people and serve our city all while honoring God in the process.
